2023 Update

Well what a topsy turvy time the world has seen since the last update. Covid and the outcome on Heritage Railways, particular Llangollen Railway has delayed many things. But we are back on track! Despite the lack of news there has been much happening in the background. A few major changes to the Llangollen Railway Great Western Loco Group.

• Charitable status attained in March this year - shareholders retain their shares but can choose to donate in future and with that we can claim gift aid, which will boost all donations by 25p in the £1

• A new Board of Trustees appointed, more on that later

• Relaunch of this website

• BUT the BEST News is that the Boiler has now moved to Tyseley Locomotive Works and your Trustees are delighted that work will recommence on the restoration of the Boiler and hope that it will be completed over the next 3 years
